I am living in Beerse, Belgium, a small village between Geel and the Dutch border, qth locator is jo21kh.With more than 16 000 inhabitants and 770 hectares of forest in an area of 3,750 ha Beerse is a green lung in the Noorderkempen. Of the 770 hectares of forest ownership is a significant part of the town obviously the pedestrian recreation benefits.
Not surprising therefore that our town has twice been awarded by Tourism Province Antwerp as walking city par excellence.
Beerse is especially known for its industry, but we think the well-known pharmaceutical manufacturer Janssen Pharmaceutica and stone bakeries. Beerse but certainly other assets! There are various chapels, churches and museums are definitely worth a visit. Click here for more pictures of my qth

years ago I build a 19 tower with an elevator to let the antennas very quickly
downstairs to work on at. Since begin 2009 I have two elevators and its working
very nicely as well. I'am using now for 10,15 and 20m a PKW antenna and it workes
really well ! For 30 and 40m I will try to make a Delta Loop Antenna for each
band and later for 12 and 17m also a 3 elements Beam. For the moment I am only using
100wtts power, using a Kenwood TS-430S but in the middle of this year we buy a
Yaesu FT-950.We are also active on ATV on 13cm and 23cm. The antennas are one 92cm disc for 13cm with homemade loopfeeds and another one also 92cm for 23cm . These loops are working very well also for DX they have 24 Dbd gain on 13cm and about 19Dbd on 23cm. Transmitter is from RSE on 13cm using only 20 mw going into PA of DL2AM and output power around 6 Watts. For 23cm also transmitter of RSE and homemade PA about 20 Watts. The coaxcable that I use is a 1/2" cellflex cable about 20m long. Also simplex qso's on ATV is very funny and plesant with low budget. Later on we will like to be qrv on 3cm also.
